Belmont Picks 5/23/07

Belmont:

Race 1: Foreign Minister-horse looks very competative in this group and the stable has been winning in bunches this year.

Race 2: Zen Buddha-this firster comes in with good connections and boasts a bigtime win early pedigree-should be a great price.

Race 3: Mission Approved-this horse should be on the lead or very close to it in a paceless race. Looks good on paper, but no stand outs in here.

Race 4: Caught Stealing-you get prado on this 7/2 shot and you also get a horse that looks the best on paper.

Race 5: Lear's Princess-tried to see a way of beating this filly and I couldn't, so I'll have to eat the odds on.

Race 6: Mr. Guggenheim-this horse has a good win early pedigree and the connections have been automatic this season.

Race 7: Exton-this Mott trainee seems to be the best on paper and looks to have a nice set up from a pace standpoint.

Race 8: Harlington-big time back class all over the place in this group, the pletcher entry gets the nod.

Race 9: Regal Officer-this horse has good numbers against these types and the officer offspring has done alright on the turf. 20/1
